TOP 10 SHOWS ON TV THIS WEEK- Week 13

As Wednesday approaches Show makers start biting their nails as it is that time of the week when their week long effort is rewarded. Lets take a look at what shows have made it to the top ten list this week.

The top spot this week like all other weeks that went by is Diya aur Baati Hum with a TRP of 5.38. Looks like audience loved the fact that Bhabho has accepted Sandhya since she gives her son immense happiness. Drama always works! Here's the prime example.

In the 2nd Spot we have Crime Patrol Dastak with its real life stories told in the most natural manner. This week the show scores 4.46.

Maximum shuffles happen in this slot and this week no 3 on the list is Saath Nibhaana Saathiya that was on top for a while and now finding its place more often in the top 5. As Rashi gets sillier, Gopi slowly standing up for herself seems to have gone down well with the audience. TRP score 4.04

Following SNS  is Balika Vadhu in the 4th position with a TRP of 3.93. Gauri's accident and loss of baby, has perhaps once more created furor and unrest as to what would happen to the Jagya-Anandi story. Anxiety surely has worked in the shows favor.
5th in the race this week is another Colors show Uttaran that has managed to win a TRP of 3.83 with its leap. The Iccha-Meethi meeting post the leap and the hype around the new characters has benefited the show well. It is very rare for shows to work post a leap, but this show has proven this wrong for the second time in a row.

With a slight hint that Virat can only think of Maanvi even though he is around Maya, audience have begun to watch more of this show and have gifted it a TRP of 3.68 at No 6. A good jump from back into the top ten leaving most others behind. Kudos!

Walking close is Yeh Rishta Kya Keh Lata Hai at 7 with a TRP of 3.62 this week! Jealousy, insecurity and complexes always work!

CID this week has slipped down to the 8th Position with a TRP of 3.60

Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon that has always managed to be in the top 5 in the last few months has disappointingly come down to number 9 this week with a TRP of 3.5. The dwindling numbers is something that the makers do need to pay attention to.

The Last show on the list this week is Pratigya with a 3.41 TRP. Sajjan Singh being ousted from the house and Pratigya taking charge of the situation has made the lady pull the show back in the groove.

Misses of the week: Parichay with 3.41 and Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli at 3.31 haven't managed to get into the A List this week. Lets see if the coming week proves any different. May be the Siddhi and Kunal love story will work in the shows favour next week and so will the Aabha-Karan romance.

Rangmunch Recommends: Suvreen Guggal-Topper of the Year which is an early evening show on Channel V has managed to grab the attention of many viewers online. Watch young and bubbly Suvreen all set to take on life at DPSC Delhi with her naive and free spirited ways. The show airs at 6:30 PM. The show has scored 0.54 this week but has steadily grown in numbers this week since the last.
Another show that we would like to recommend is Chhal Seh aur Maath on colors that is holding the audience to their edge of their seats with its unique twists and turns. This week the show has scored 1.88
Sajda Tere Pyar Main on StarPlus has finally taken a plunge into the story the trailers promised as Aliya now will don the role of a spy for the sake of her country. The show in the week that went by scored 1.61.

Rangmunch Viewing Tips: If you want your favorite shows to do well, make sure you watch them on TV during the time slot that they actually air. Online viewing unfortunately only accounts for word of mouth feedback and doesnt add to the actual numbers. So watch your shows on the TV only. Lets see how much of a difference this will bring in, in the week ahead.
